I really like this poster for the TV drama 'six feet under' its really simple but extremely effective. 'Six feet under' is set in a morgue but the series mainly centers around the family running the business rather than it's deceased customers. Therefor the tree could be seen as a 'family tree'. With the title being placed below the tree as if it is berried underground giving the subtial tie between the company and its owners lives.
The colours used in this poster are very dull and light and almost fade into black and white. This gives a faded feel to the picture.


The other image i just found when i searched for family tree pictures, but the way i interprited it was very similar to how i would want our audience to see our poster. Just with the simple adition of the tire swing to the tree shows that this is a tree that is often visited by children it is a place od joy and activity. But as it is solitary and no one appears to be around it has a slight sinister feeling or mor eof a forgotten air.
